I have worked all over the UK in aviation and most airports have a little cafe that offers light refreshments and food. However Cotswold Airport have excelled themselves with a picturesque fully licensed (if you are not driving or flying) restaurant that offers much more. Either sit with a cup of tea on the terrace and watch really diverse displays of varying aircraft, or pop inside to sample reasonably priced meals or snacks. The decor is plush and comfortable and you would not believe you were at a small airfield (until a roaring fast jet or Spitfire zoom past) Second only to Cranfield maybe (but they have 3 restaurants!!!) this must be the best little airport dining establishment I have encountered.
Looking forward to the Autumn when they promise to be open in the evening for Curry nights etc
