We had a lovely stay at Wool Cottage, Fairford. It is a great location and very central to the Cotwolds and Oxford. The property is nicely presented and furnished, and had everything we needed for our stay. It's a shame that the property doesn't have its own parking, this would be a huge advantage. We were able to park along the road but this was on a first come first serve basis. Otherwise we had to park in the square and on a wet day, this was a pain. The property is advertised to have wifi but is quite intermittent. Otherwise, Wool Cottage is perfect place for a holiday in the Cotswolds and we really recommend it.
Lovely cottage in a picturesque location with everything we needed for our long weekend break, didn't want to leave!
We stayed here in September 2017 as a family of four. The cottage was immaculate. Both bedrooms have en suite showers. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge looks out towards open fields. Fairford is a nice village with good amenities - a small co-op, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. Would recommend.
Wool cottage is in an ideal location, close to the shops and ideal for walking.
Catherine made us feel very welcome. We look forward to visiting Wool Cottage again soon.
We really enjoyed our stay at Wool Cottage, it is beautifully decorated through out and equiped with everything we needed for our stay with three young children. The village of Fairford is lovely, very picturesque with lovely walks and a good base for enjoing the Cotswolds.
The pubs were great as well as the people .surrounding area and villages were very pretty. The house we stayed in was clean and well equipped.
Compact with excellent facilities if used as a base for walking the Cotswolds. Fairford has really good restaurants/pubs all within easy walking distance of the cottage. However, the lack of parking could be an issue for anyone with children or Bad weather. There were a couple of days when we had to park some distance from the cottage as.the parking spaces in the town square and car park were all full.r
