“Excellent location, lovely cottage.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2012 for a stay in March 2012

A group of 4 stayed for the weekend. It was home from home, very clean and comfortable. It has a lovely court yard and we managed to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the spring sunshine.
On the Saturday we went to Stratford on Avon which was about half hour drive. The location is excellent for exploring. On the Saturday night we ate in the Reasdale arms (think that's the name) the staff were very friendly and the food excellent.
I would recommend this cottage and would stay again.

“Living the Cotswold dream - it's all about the log fires!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 January 2012 for a stay in January 2012

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect Cotswold weekend break, and this gorgeous listed cottage right on the High Street in Moreton was ideal. You felt immediately at home the moment you set foot into the property - large open fireplace, flagstone floor, exposed beams etc. The cottage has been modernised to a very high standard and the kitchen in particular has all you could ever need whether you are staying for a weekend or longer. There is a log store in the pretty garden so you won't run out of wood for the fire if you stay in Winter! Pubs, restaurants, antiques shops are all on your doorstep (literally) so this is a great place to base yourself to explore the Cotswolds. We'll be booking again for sure! Highly recommended indeed.

“A wonderful weekend in a gorgeous cottage right in the heart of Moreton in Marsh”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 December 2011 for a stay in December 2011

My partner and I stayed in The Cottage for a long weekend with friends. It was a truly wonderful weekend in a gorgeous cottage in a prime position in the heart of Moreton in Marsh. What we liked most about the cottage was that it was really welcoming and there were some lovely finishing touches, a huge fireplace with plenty of logs to keep us warm and an amazing shower room. There's lots of exposed beams and the cottage is really quaint and very clean and tidy. When we arrived the Christmas tree lights lit up the High Street and the local pubs and restaurants were really close and in walkable distance. Although we all agreed we were so happy in the cottage we would have been happy to stay in the whole weekend in front of the roaring fire with good food, drink and conversation!

“Beautifully restored Cotswold cottage in pretty village”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2011 for a stay in October 2011

We had a great stay in this lovely cottage. It's very cosy with lots of character and charm, a well equipped kitchen and excellent shower room. The property has all the home comforts we could have wished for and is ideally located for pubs, restaurants and shops within the village. There is free parking right outside. The surrounding countryside is stunning with wonderful walks and lots of places of interest.

“If I could live there, I would!”

This has to be one of the cosiest and most welcoming cottages I have stayed in. The owners have managed to strike just the right balance between that home-from-home feeling and the feeling of being treated to special touches whilst on holiday.

When we arrived the fire was laid ready for us to light, and I must say that on our first night there was nothing more satisfying than sitting in front of the lovely stone fireplace watching the flames flicker and listening to the logs crackle. Sufficient logs were provided for that night but I would recommend that you bring or buy locally further supplies to keep you going - it's too good to miss out on! Incidentally, the central heating boiler if needed is unbelievably easy to operate and warms the rooms up very quickly.

The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking a feast (it has more rings than I could think of using not to mention ovens!) and every tool and implement I needed was there. Off the kitchen at the rear is a lovely shower room - one of the touches of luxury. Both bedrooms are very pretty and seem to be just in keeping with what you would expect from a Cotswold cottage.

We didn't use the rear patio area but I imagine it would be beautiful sitting out there in the summer as it's secluded and sheltered.

Other points worth mentioning are the ease of free, unlimited parking right outside the property, and the choice of good pubs and restaurants all within less than 5 minutes' walk.

I will certainly be booking again. It has all the charm of a Cotswold cottage without being twee or 'chocolate-boxy' and as I said, I could quite easily live there given half a chance!

“fantastic cotswolds country cottage with all the creature comforts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2011 for a stay in July 2011

Arrived on a sunny evening, opened the front door into a traditional oak beamed living room. Log fire ready laid for us (not that we needed it, it's summer !)
Tea, coffee and wine and a note from Joanne to greet us.
All new inside, comfortable and cosy. Loads of hot water, fab shower!
Pretty little garden where we all sat drinking.
Good spot with whole of Moreton on our doorstep.
Great weekend. Booking again for next year.
