“Pretty Cotswold Town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014

Nice long High Street, with lovely old cotswold stone properties. Plenty of Gift shops and T-rooms. Flea market was on in Town Hall and this was very interesting. Had its own little cafe where we had a lovely coffee/cake.
This town has a really busy market that takes up the whole street one day a week. Sorry, but no idea what day!

“My adopted home town.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

I'm biased but I moved in 10 years ago in a removals van and will leave in a casket. It's flat, our bungalow is just 200 metres from the High Street, The station is 5 minutes walk and we have plenty of trains to Oxford, London, Heathrow, Gatwick and Worcester.

“A very nice quaint Cotswold Town.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 November 2013

My wife and I and our dog arrived in Moreton in the Marsh on Friday 15th November to stay with our Caravan at the Caravan Club site in Bourton Road after a traffic diversion due to a road closure took us on a route that took 2 hours from our home rather than just 1 hour which would have been the norm.
As we arrived later in the day we did not go into the town until the Saturday morning. There we found numerous gift shops and very nice looking pubs etc.
All in all a lovely place with one exception and that was the very sour looking lady serving at the co-op store in the High Street. She certainly was not a good advert for this convenience store early in the morning with no greeting and no please or thank you after we purchased our newspaper and a couple of croissants. However this was the exception as we were greeted by some very cheery good mornings not only from shop proprietors but also locals and visitors alike. We are here for a week so if this is anything to go by we have made a great choice for our winter caravan week.

“Beautiful even in the rain”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013

Relaxing in Moreton is even great in the rain. The town is still busy with undeterred people dressed up in their boots and wet weather gear. Diving back in to the White Hart Hotel for a hot drink before dinner we are writing this review in front of a warm open fire. What could be better?

“Lovely little town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2013

A lovely little Cotswold town that has plenty of charm. This is certainly a need to visit this place when in the Cotswolds.

A range of little tea rooms and shops including a butcher, cheese shop and big stores like Tesco and Co-op.

Parking can be a bit of an issue on a busy day.
