we booked a table and were very pleased we did as it got quite busy by 8.30pm. there was some lovely specials on the board but they sold out quite quickly as i guess lunch was very popular too. we had 2 sunday roasts which came with yorkshire puds and all the trimmings (even though one had pork), one game pie with all the trimmings and 1 meals from the standard menu. the pie was lovely and ther local donnington brewery ales went down a treat with it. we enjoyed the meal so much we returned later in the week for another meal which was equally as good. highly recommended and very reasonable.

Thank colin s

We arrived in Stow just around lunchtime . A friend had told us to look for the Queens Head when we got there for some good food. We went straight there and to our surprise there was only one other person in there. Was this a bad sign??
We decided that we would stay anyway as we were tired and hungry from our journey . The man behind the bar was pleasant enough and said that they did serve food. We sat down and he came and took our order . He bought our drinks over and about 15 minutes later our food arrived. It was ok but nothing to shout about.
All this time no one else came in, very worrying . We ate our meal paid the bill and left. Not a very exciting experience ,but not an unpleasant one either .

We went to the Queens Head for our evening meal as visitors to the town. It is a typical quaint English pub which we later discovered was the favourite in Stow by the locals. Friendly atmosphere, good service and decent food at a reasonable price. It was a Friday night and did get busy so we recommend you book a table in advance. We will go back when we are next in Stow.

We visited The Queen's Head pub as a last stop for refreshments before leaving Stow-on-the-Wold on our coach tour. It was a lovely way to end a pleasant visit to this town.

It is conveniently located around the main square. We enjoyed a glass of wine and half a bitter. The service was excellent! Everyone was really friendly.

It’s a lovely pub with a back garden area perfect for enjoying the summer sunshine. The bathrooms were clean, which is always a good sign of a decent, well-maintained establishment.

The dog hanging about the front door area wouldn't let us pass to get out! He was such a cutie! He seems to relish patrons’ company as much as they all enjoy his presence and personality! Lovely to see the animals helping to make everyone's experience even more enjoyable!
