The team at #4 was great. Food quality and presentation outstanding. The rooms were large, air conditioned(!!!!!) and very clean. The location was central and Caroline and Tricia really give you the personal treatment throughout your stay. The entire time at #4 was well beyond our expectations.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and experienced the wonderful villages of the Cotswolds during your trip to the UK.
We trust you had a safe journey home and look forward to welcoming you back perhaps next year.

With kind regards

We chose this hotel restaurant from Tripadvisor, and did not regret our decision..
This is a relatively new hotel on the outskirts of Stow on the Wold.
Despite being on the junction of two roads, road traffic is not intrusive, as it is set in spacious grounds with ample and secure car parking.
The recently modernized Cotswold property is immaculate inside and out and all the staff are incredibly helpful and attentive.
We chose a bedroom suite, with a king size bed, a large sitting room, and a spacious bathroom, with views over the surrounding countryside.
We will always remember our stay with you, which has restored our faith in the standards which hotels can achieve in accommodation, service, and especially dining experience.
Over the years we have noticed a decline in most of our favorite hotels and restaurants, especially in Switzerland, where we live
In your case the experience far exceeded our expectations.
The food was simply outstanding and we wish we could have sampled all of it.
Congratulations to your chef, Clive?
To us you offer very high quality and value.
Most places now seem to offer average quality, if you are lucky, and poor value.
Please accept our thanks and appreciation to you and all your staff.
We hope to return again soon.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a suite with sitting room.

We are very pleased you have taken the time to post your compliments following your stay at our hotel. We have passed these on to our great team of staff. Much appreciated, thank you.

We look forward to welcoming back to The Cotswolds again and hopefully next time you can experience the lovely sunshine which we normally have at this time of year!

Stayed here at the start of June and the staff could not have been more helpful.
Rooms are modern, bright and clean. Room had tea and coffee facilities.
Breakfast was great and markedly better than at other hotels in the Cotswolds. Only thing to note is that the hotel is not in the town so check google maps for the location. Would stay here again

I've stayed in the Cotswolds many times and I like the rose-patterned cosiness of many of the hotels and B & B's as much as the next person, but to find a stylish boutique gem like this is a great discovery!

The hotel is newly fitted and so everything works, is clean and attractively decorated. The rooms are a good size and bathroom fab, with a great shower. The room is air-conditioned if you need it, so the hotel-type conveniences are available but you can still have tea and coffee in your room, which I personally love and which is often absent in larger hotels.

The hotel is located conveniently between Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford, two of my favourite Cotswold towns, and is very easy to find.

The staff and management are extremely helpful and friendly and offer a very personal service. Food is exceptional. My husband eats steak regularly and around the globe and declared the sirloin 'fantastic'. Pretty impressive considering we were in a group of about 40 and most of us were eating the steak at the same time.

I have already recommended the hotel to friends and would go back tomorrow. Thanks to all concerned.

This is a fantastic hotel, the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms had modern decor and were very clean and comfortable. It is a great base to explore the lovely Cotswold villages of Burford, Stow and Broadway. Will certainly go back.

A good all round place to stay - very friendly and attentive staff and fabulous food. As a wheelchair user, my husband was unsure of the varying steps and levels of the hotel. Our worries were soon gone as the staff were all very helpful and provided ramps to allow us to access the restaurant and other areas. The food and service were well above our expectations and we ate there on both nights. The room was accessible and the attention to detail was excellent.
Would certainly recommend Number Four at Stow.
