Number Four at Stow Hotel & Restaurant
Certificate of Excellence

My Wife and I stayed at Number 4 the Stow for one night while travelling in the Cotswold's.
The room we had was spotless and very well laid out, after arriving we decided to dine in the hotels restaurant, what a good choice, the food was outstanding and well presented, and we would definitely eat there again on our next visit.
From the time we arrived to our checkout the staff were impeccable,as was the owner Caroline, always there at hand to attend to your needs.
Breakfast was equally outstanding with plenty of choice for the guests.
We look forward to visiting again.

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. Every part of the hotel is spotlessly clean, all of the staff were superb and provided a courteous and friendly service, the 2 nights we dined in the Cutlers restaurant, the food was delicious (and the chef made a couple of menu adjustments to suit our tastes) and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Breakfast was piping hot and filled us both for the days.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Cotswolds as its one of the best hotels I've stayed in anywhere.
It is so obvious this is privately owned and those owners take pride in what they offer.

I really lovely this , so clean hotel
This place is stylish , but welcoming and warm , I arrived late and left very early , going to see race horses on gallops ! so didnt get to a have the full experiance ( big shame )
Receptionist was really great when checking in , they knew was arriving late, were very happy to arrange for a sandwich to bought to my room , which was really fresh anf lovely
One thing , there was no mirror in room , so I could dry my hair , when I said this to the receptionist who bought my sandwich , she went and got one ! great service
note in room 101 , ( mirror is needed near plug to dry hair , this is the only observation , as I said they got me a mobile one , so I was very happy
Slept well , room so so clean , will so be staying again , as bought the horse ! so will properly become a regular !
Really a truly great nice clean hotel in a beauiful part of the world

The room was wonderful as we're the entire staff....everyone was there to make our stay fantastic from the owner who spent time chatting to the restaurant staff who could not have been better.
We started with a drink in thebar after which we had dinner in the restaurant. The presentation as well as the quality will stand with anything in London, New York or San Francisco. Wow, the flavours!
The breakfast was as good as it gets and we look forward to. Insisting again soon.

Just got back from a four day stay at Number Four at Stow.
We had dinner bed and breakfast every day, and we were very happy with everything at the hotel. The owner kept a careful eye on things and was very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and the standard of cleanliness is very high. The food was amazing - properly cooked and presented food obviously prepared by a trained professional chef with careful attention to detail. We would definitely return here and it's a great base to explore the Cotswolds from.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our mini honeymoon and we had a lovely time. The owner was extremely welcoming and was always on hand tending to our every need. The hotel is of a very high quality, the beds are gorgeous and the breakfast and dinners in Cutlers Restaurant were delicious. It is an ideal location to explore the Cotswolds although slightly outside of Stow so it was a good 20 minute walk into the town. We would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again.

We just returned from a short break to Cotswold and booked this hotel on phone after calling several hotels last minute. We booked a suite. The overall experience was excellent from start to finish . I was travelling with my 8 month old baby and we had a cot with lovely toys put in the room. There was a changing mat alongwith towels, nappy sacks , cotton balls, and sensitive skin cleansing wipes. That's a lot of careful thought and attention to detail. Good breakfast! The suite is no king suite of encore, las Vegas . But it was nice, comfortable with lovely modern bathroom. It was spacious enough as well. And service certainly surpasses many fine hotels. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Cotswold . A car is required though. I can't recommend it enough. Very efficiently run with nice friendly staff.

It was a pleasure to welcome you all to our hotel and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We do hope that as your daughter gets a bit older you will return as there are so many fabulous places to visit with children, such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park, which I am sure she will enjoy.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.
