Booked 2 night stay through Travelzoo with dinner on first night. When booked in, were told we had been upgraded to an executive suite. Lovely room. Dinner was fantastic - excellent food and great service. Location very good and central for exploring favourite places in the Cotswolds. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break.

We checked in here for a wedding last week. The Receptionist was very off-hand. He didn't look up and greet us as we approached his desk but, unsmiling, simply asked who we were. We arrived early so ordered a light lunch whilst we waited for our room to be prepared. Lunch was ok but expensive for what it was. We were put in the Orangery, an annex to the main building which was disappointing as we had hoped to be in the Main House. The room was adequate but only had one comfy chair; not good for a four star hotel. Bed was large and very comfortable; bathroom was small. Saving grace was tea and coffee in the room and a continuously heated towel rail but no safe and no bathrobes. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept.
Not a memorable stay but could have been better.

Room Tip: Avoid small rooms in Orangery which have no terrace.

I stayed with a friend and we had a great overnight stay. We decided om the hotel as we could meet halfway as we live 2 hours from each other and we can thoroughly recommend. We stayed on busy Saturday night over mothers day weekend, also there was a wedding on and a wedding fayre. But we were treated to great service. Our room was very nice, we both had treatments, fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were first class. Would stay again and have recommended to friends.

Stayed here for a works event earlier this week. We had full use of the large room will amazing views. We were well looked after with coffee and cake and the luches where amazimg. However the jewel in the crown was dinner. Each course was beautifully presented and had an multi layer of flavours. We will definitely be visiting the restaurant again. The rooms were pleasant and large I had a beautiful view of the gardens. All the ladies had a treatment in the spa which were pleasant. My only criticism is some staff were a little off but not rude, maybe our drinks requests were too demanding (no cocktails !)

Stayed at this hotel on a 2 day business workshop. At some point on day 1 a robber came in to the hotel and entered our workshop room during lunch while we were in the restaurant and stole money and my credit/debit cards from my wallet. I didn't realise this until late that night by which time my bank account had £11,000 taken. Thankfully (after a lot of hassle) this was refunded by my bank, but not the £250 that was taken from my wallet. I was very disappointed by the lack of communication, sympathy or even compensation from the hotel management during the aftermath as well as the key facts that no warnings were given and that the room was not locked while we were away from it.
I and my company will never use Wyck Hill House Hotel again and wouldn't recommend it.
