Stayed here for 1 night in the coach house not in the main manor. The room was disappointing. I expected it to be more luxurious but instead it was furnished a bit like an upmarket IKEA bedroom. The breakfast was a full english breakfast and the staff were friendly

The room was excellent, spacious, clean and very good value for money. The food however was a little disappointing. There is no table d'hote menu and the a la carte menu is brief to say the least. Some main courses include vegetables but some don't with an apparently random distribution to this. We'd booked B&B only through a website but we'd originally planned to eat in the hotel for all three nights of our stay. After a disappointing dinner on the first night we chose to eat elsewhere on the other nights. Breakfast is fine, plentiful and cooked to order, not a buffet.

We booked to stay at Fosse Manor at the last minute on a whim after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. From start to finish our stay was most enjoyable! We were checked in quickly and efficiently and shown to our room by the lady who checked us in. We were not disappointed by our room, we had booked a standard room and were allocated an attic room which was at the front of the main building overlooking the gardens and the car park; the room was tastefully decorated and the bathroom a decent size. The bed was very comfy! All of the staff we came across were extremely polite and friendly! Breakfast was a real treat and the bar was very pleasant to relax in in the evening. We didn't take advantage of the hotel restaurant for an evening meal as we preferred to take advantage of the vast choice of local eateries in nearby Stow-on-the-Wold. Fosse Manor is a great choice for a relaxing break and provides a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds!

I took my husband here for his birthday and was impressed with the Deluxe room I'd booked. The leather sleigh bed was huge and it was great to have a bath whilst looking out over the countryside and sipping champagne!

Although the restaurant was fairly quiet (well it was a Monday), it still felt very welcoming and the staff were friendly. Dinner made this a a truly special occasion though. The food was presented and cooked perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed it and we were pleased to find out that it was locally sourced too.

We'd like to go back again one day. In fact, we wish it was closer to home so we could have dinner there more often!

Stayed at the Fosse Manor in June for a three night break. We had a classic room in the adjacent building. The room was large and quiet with excellent facilities. The bathroom in particular was a delight with a separate shower. We had dinner each evening from a varied menu and the quality was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning for a future break.

Overnight stay at the Fosse Manor as part of a short break to the Cotswolds. Despite disappointing weather the hotel compensated with a warm welcome. Rooms were nicely decorated and although ours was quite small the bathroom was very spacious and spotless.
Bar and lounge areas were very comfortable. We particularly liked the way varied styles and colours had been used to great effect in these public areas.
We had booked dinner based on the previous reviews and agree that the food is absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Why go into Stow when you can eat this well?
Highly recommended.
