A great little B+B welcoming friendly hosts, great big comfy bed, spacious clean bedroom and a perfect breakfast cooked by Jim to set us up for the day, we stay here for 3 nights and would happily recommend it a great break for the wife and I. Just a shame the weather was so good we didn't get to experience the roaring fire.
If i was going to be picky the lack of dedicated parking was a minor flaw but come 4pm the street outside empties and you can park straight outside the front door with no restrictions.

we stayed for two nights and had a wonderful stay. Rooms were beautifully clean, the breakfast was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for the owners Carol & jim. It was like a home from home. Would definately stay there again!

Room Tip: choose room 1 or 2 as room 3 is a little bit of a climb up the stairs.

Four of us (two couples) stayed for two nights and had a fantastic time. Jim and Carol were very wellcoming and really made our short break very special. The rooms were very comfortable and spotless, breakfast was delicious and set us all up for the day!!
It was lovely coming back in the evening to a roaring log fire where we could sit and have a drink and a game of cards. We will be back !!
We would also highly recommend Cutlers Restaurant at Hotel Number Four (a short taxi ride away).

Far and away the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in. Jim is the perfect host, friendly and informative. Scrupulously clean, beautifully comfortable bed, seriously delicious and fresh breakfast! The open log fire was perfect and Jim had it roaring in time for our return from the restaurant or pub. We WILL be returning and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Everybody has a different priority when they stay in a B&B or hotel and just looking through Tripadvisor comments you clearly can't please everyone. Some people complain about the most trivial things. This B&B ticked all the boxes for my wife and I. It was spotlessly clean, very warm and comfortable, the owners were welcoming and really lovely people, the breakfasts were awesome!

Number Nine is 1 minute walk from Stow in the Wold square and well placed as a base for all the Cotswold villages. Coming back to a real log fire in the lounge on the 3 cold, winter nights we stayed was great, books and magazines, comfy sofa......idyllic! We will definitely return.

We can endorse everything said here. The attention to detail was incredible, food was delicious and very well presented. Room was huge and comfortable. Jimmy and Carol were fantastic hosts and really made the stay what it was. Would definitely stay again. Just save yourself some time and check into number nine!

Arriving fairly late on a Friday evening, we were welcomed warmly by Jim, who immediately put us at ease. He is an open an friendly gentleman, full of helpful advice on the best places to eat locally. The front room - a communal area - is spacious and comfortable: Jim keeps a roaring fire going and there's the option of spending a cosy evening sitting next to the fire with a selection of books and games.

Our room, Number 2, was equally spacious, warm and full of character. The entire establishment is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. I can honestly say I've never stayed in a more comfortable bed and the duvet was so warm and comfortable I wanted to take it home with me! The bathroom is modern and well-euipped with thoughtful touches like cotton buds and tissues in addition to shower gel and shampoo. The ceiling hight in the bathroom means there is a shower head attachment over the bath, which wasn't a problem. I do wish I'd brought bubble bath though, to take full advantage of what was on offer!

Breakfast is something of an event: guests are presented with a menu of options and a three-course selection that can easily see you through to dinner (as it did us). Fresh juice is served in iced jugs and guests are given the option of starting with cereals, greek yogurt or fresh fruit (with/ without yogurt). We opted for the latter and it was delicious. This is followed by any combination of cooked options; the ultimate being a full, cooked breakfast. Jim cooks everything perfectly. Toast - brown or white - is also provided, in addition to a selection of warm drinks. We opted for a cafetiere of coffee. It was at breakfast that we first met Carol. She is as warm and welcoming as her husband and an extremely attentive host.

We spent two nights at Number 9 in total and wish it could have been longer. Certainly, if we return to the Cotswolds, we'd stay here again. The location is perfect - just minutes from the town square, yet situated on a quiet road with ample parking. Jim and Carol are perfect hosts; friendly yet unobtrusive and as lovely as their home is, they are the main attraction.

Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: Room 2 is fab but we couldn't find a wifi signal: guests may have better luck in Room 1.
