Its a lovely place for the kids to have an adventure by running about! Its a beautiful walk surrounded by trees and lakes! Every time we are close to woodchester we always visit woodchester park, and when we go gaming in thistledown campsite we always go! Its a lovely walk to get to the mansion and there are massive fish in the water! On one of the lakes theres a bridge that goes over the lake and down a patch of grass by the lake there is a lovely little boat house which is quite old but a very nice masterpiece! We hope that you will go to woodchester park for a day trip! and if you do have fun!

Fantastic woodland walking with fun trail for kids. Amazing Woodchester mansion at the end of the walk makes it even better as you can get a lovely pot of tea, cake and ice cream!

Visit the boat house, lakes, ice house and dog kennels and notice the folly tower high up in the trees

We went here in June. We did the 3.5 mile walk, but didn't really find much to see. The mansion was closed. There were no facilities or anywhere to have a drink.
It was a nice walk but I've been around better national trust sites.

I always love visiting here with the dogs and children. Very good to go on wet days when we all need a run. Take a picnic as there are no facilities. Walk down the hill to the house and lakes, have a picnic and return through the woods. Magical and always surprising. You may even find a few fairies.
