My wife and I went for lunch at the Lords of the Manor for my birthday. Having had a lovely dinner there last November we thought we would try lunch.
An excellent meal was had, perfect service, spot on timing and the food was heavenly also.
The restaurant was not full but almost so, as such that there was an excellent atmosphere.
Pea soup with boiled quails eggs and truffle sauce was to me a highlight taste wise.
Will be back in 2013 - all things being equal!
If I have a criticism it is that my Bloody Mary didn't have celery salt in it! But I am not going to deduct a stat=r for this very minor omission.
