We recently stayed for one night at the Lords of the Manor, having booked through Secret Escapes. The Hotel is absolutely perfect - the decor is beautiful. The staff were so lovely and there is great attention to detail. At dinner the service and the food was outstanding. We got engaged whilst staying here and I can't imagine a better or more romantic place to celebrate. Thank you for a very memorable stay.

Quite apart from enjoying the room, the gardens, the location and the delicious meals, we were most struck by the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone we came across. A Hotel thoroughly to be recommended.

The staff were excellent from the waiting staff to the reception and the manager. Nothing was to much trouble for them. The room was lovely and the food wonderful. We were celebrating our birthdays and wedding anniversary and we were made to feel very special.
Thank you so much for all you done. Can't wait to go back.

We recently held our Daughters Wedding at Lords of the Manor Hotel on an Exclusive Weekend basis and must say it was magical !!! The Hotel and gardens are exquisite and the overall organisation was well beyond our expectations. Our competent host Paul, the Hotel Manager and his excellent staff looked after our family and friends with much pride and care to detail and provided a unique blend of elegance, charm and first class service throughout. Nothing was too much trouble and for this memorable occasion we can't thank them enough. The Hotel location is beautiful, quiet and tranquil and with excellent food, drink and ambience who could ask for more. Highly recommended, keep up the good work and thank you all very much. A special thankyou to Andy, who looked after our guests and their cars very well.

Dear Guest
The entire team enjoyed very much looking after your Wedding, I do not think we will ever forget its tremendous individuality, particularly the mini wedding cakes and the personalised place cards were exceptional.

We were so pleased to be a part of a very special event and hope to see you soon.

Paul

Wonderful setting with beautiful grounds. We stayed in a lovely suite in the Rectory- very charming though bathroom slightly on the small side. Bedding was very comfy. Warm friendly service. Dinner was excellent. Tea in the drawing room was delightful with pretty views of the grounds. Breakfast in the room was also perfect. There was no WIFI in the bedroom when we stayed so one had to go to the main public areas but I hear they will have WIFI throughout the hotel by mid June, so that is great news. Unpretentious but luxurious. Charming neighbourhood too.

Room Tip: As some of the rooms are conversions in the old buildings, I would ask for a room with a bigger size...

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your review, it is great that you enjoyed your time with us. Indeed we have been waiting for fast broadband and wifi for around about 600 years but finally we have an installation date this month. I have mixed feelings about this as deep down I have a suspicion that by depriving our guests of this service it makes them a little less stressed by the end of their stay.

We look forward to your return visit.
Kind regards
Paul

We had a lovely romantic night here in April 2013 booked with secretescapes which included a meal in the attached Michelin star restaurant. Throughout the hotel service was excellent, the food was delicious and the location was a gem (it is quintessential Cotswolds).

It is a country hotel set in lovely grounds and would recommend it to anyone. Would certainly stay again in the future.
