Anvil Cottage is a great base station, close to all the main parts we wanted to go to,lovely town center about 3 mins walk, local shop about 3-5 mins walk(depending on which way you go),pubs with-in 5 mins walk-The Corner Cupboard pub is lovely and does food you understand, the others seem to want to cater for those who know about food,me I just want it in plain English

“Fabulous”

We had an amazing weekend here. The cottage is beautiful and set in a lovely location. The village has some fab shops and pubs with lovely gardens! There is lots to see and do around the cottage.

The cottage itself was very clean and everything you could need is there. Very pleased and would go back again.

We had a lovely weekend stay in Anvil Cottage. It is extremely well equipped and furnished to an exceptional standard, from the bedding to the luxuriously soft towels.
When staying here you are conveniently located just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre which has everything you could need. Here we enjoyed a great meal and some local ale at the Wine and Sausage.
We visited the stunning Sudeley Castle which is a pleasant 10 minute walk away and is a must visit.
We would without doubt recommend the cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the gorgeous area of Winchcombe.

“fantastic”

A wonderful break, we had the perfect weekend. Winchcombe has so much to offer with fantastic shops and studley castle, and it is a perfect hub to see some amazing sites in the surrounding cotswolds.

The cottage was the perfect size, fully equipt with everything you could think of, and art for sale which we took advantage of.

Nice and quiet and within walking distance of all amenities. The lion is a great place to refresh with a local beer and something to eat, but Winchcombe does have other eateries which are ofthe highest standard.

We would recommend this property to people who have taste as it is decorated to the higest standard. Who like exploring and walking. And a nice quiet evening after a few drinks in the village.
