“A brilliant "Find" on my travels”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

A long day out last Saturday, sightseeing nr Stratford and on starting the drive home we were feeling very hungry, stopped at Broadway only to be told everything was fully booked, so we were turned away.
( wont mention the place as its not their fault they were fully booked )
Driving on down south on the A roads we came to Winchcombe and stopped to see if there was anywhere nice to eat and walking down the street we came upon the white hart which has the wine and sausages restaurant within it.
Yes, they had a table and yes we could eat, and , when we did eat, what a surprise.... quite one of the best meals I have ever had. The food was very good, cooked to perfection, and the prices are good to. Very friendly and welcoming staff...all in all a really great find and somewhere I will most certainly be returning to.

“Enjoyed my return”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

As a returning customer I really enjoyed dinner here. The quality of the food is good and well cooked; prices are only okay and I would have liked to see childrens menus offered. The real ales here are good and pub well located after a great walk in Winchcombe area.

“The sausage boards are a must!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

This is a fantastic gastro-pub in a glorious setting. Dining by the bar is very quaint and if you eat with a large group they place you in an amazing room at the back of the pub.

The sausage boards here are now famous amongst my colleagues and are a must as a shared starter every time we go. The problem is trying to decide how many of them to have!

“Everything was "off' including the service”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Sad to report such a bad review of what used to be a good place to eat. Today was just not a good day. Half the menu choices were 'off' and those that were available came with an extra portion of indifference. Surly staff is not good pr for a pub that relies so much on passing trade.
