Stayed for one night after arriving from ferry from France. When booking made a king size bed was confirmed and although the room we were given was fine it was only a large double bed. When this was queried later the staff seemed to have little interest in our query, which was our main disappointment.
However the room was lovely, decorated in the manner you would expect for the period of the building. There was lovely sheets, towels etc and there were coffee making facilities within the room. The double glazing could be better as there was a bit of noise during the night.
Bathroom was clean and modern looking, although a little small but good shower and lots of hot water.
Breakfast was fine, as expected for a B&B freshly cooked to order.
we did eat the night before at the restuarant in the Bistro section and although it was fine we would not recommend it again. I had fishcake but the only vegetable it came with was more potato!
The wifi was good as was TV coverage. There is off street parking. However the is no lift so if you have trouble with stairs it could be difficult.
