The food is always delicious. Disappointing that it's let down by really poor customer service. The fabulous chef should be in charge for sure.

It was nice to sit down and have a meal, the quality is nice. We had breakfast and it was really good, however compared to other cafes it was slightly bit more expensive, but the quality speaks for itself. Their smoothies are nice, breakfast was also good, the brown bread was really good. The service was good, the waiter was helpful in giving us some local information. However it was difficult to park the car around this place, and parking charge is also not cheap.

I've been in this place several times with friends and my boyfriend for drinks, and the mocha they do is amazing. It tastes so good. You can only get a large, and that's quite dear, but it's been worth it.
Going in and getting a takeaway mocha (which they don't need to pay tax on) gets you around half as much, but at the usual price. Today I had a yummy yet incredibly expensive takeaway drink that was gone in no time at all.
If you're going to drink here, I suggest you sit in. Otherwise you're definitely not getting your money's worth. As a student it's not something I plan to get again, and they might want to consider this as the cafe is right in the middle of the central campus.

Really nice place, proper French pavement cafe style, lots of outside tables. Good food, clean, stylish. What more could you want?

We were dropping our daughter off to Uni at Portsmouth, and we all agreed we should go back to Le Cafe Parisien for breakfast as somewhere we had been before and enjoyed.

A very good breakfast - lovely freshly squeezed (in front of us) Orange juice.

Interesting clientele - obviously a Uni influence and all in all just a nice place to sit down and let the world pass you by for a bit.
