Stopped off for coffee before going round the attached Royal marines Museum. Having browsed the menu we decided to have lunch here, splitting our visit to the museum either side of lunch. There is a sign saying be prepared to wait as all food is freshly prepared. I chose a steak and kidney pudding ( a real one with a suet casing) and my wife had salmon on a bed of salad. The wait was not too long and the food was delicious. The museum was good but the Quartermaster's kitchen really was the icing on a good day out.
