Thought we would take our son to the cafe, have a hot meal and let him outside to play, unfortunately after paying £2 to park we entered the cafe to be met by an indifferent reception, there was nobody else in the cafe but the chef and his to helpers who did not even bother to look up, I had to make conversation which was strained to say the least, still no greeting or guidance, after we spent five minutes choosing what we wanted to eat, the chef strolled over and just said no hot food only snacks and walked off back to the kitchen, we felt so unwelcome we left straight away as we felt that they really did not want us there, as we were spoiling their clearing up. I do not understand a tourist attraction stopping hot food so early on in the day on a Sunday, very puzzling. So wasted £2 parking and no food, the cafe was also looking a bit tired, not what I expected, it's a shame as outside is a nice safe play area, if it served hot food it would be a perfect place to spend an afternoon with the children. I can't comment on the food but if the hospitality is anything to go by, it is a place to avoid.
