From a Pots and Pans to a hotel you have it all at this facility and its a great layout to boot. In a convert dock, there is everything from drivable motor boats for kids to pubs/bars/restaurants and outlet stores.. with the surrounding history this is a great place to spend a weekend or a week!

Gunwharf is located on the waterfront so the location is great. The view is stunning particularly on warm summer days and nights and many of the restaurants face the beautiful view. There are so many wonderful shops that if you catch on the right day offer some fantastic bargains! The Spinnaker Tower is also onsite and there are often events and markets on so plenty to see and do. All in all a good day out.

Lovely shopping centre, well set out. Very clean and tidy place. Plenty of parking reasonably priced.
The public toilets are the cleanest public toilets that I have ever been to-even some hotels could learn from these!
Plenty of outlet shopssomething for everyone!

As a Portsmouth resident I'm very pleased about Gunwharf and always recommend it to people coming to the city. Situated on the water front the place has everything. I have worked in Gunwharf for over 3 years and even though I was there 5 or 6 days a week, I still found myself there on my days or nights off. With a huge cinema complex with 10+ screens it is a good place to take kids. There is a bowling alley close to the cinema so it is very kid friendly. The front is bustling with people admiring the views of the harbour with huge ships constantly coming and going. The restaurants down the front are always worth checking out to enjoy a great view. The shops, even though outlet stores are still fantastic with some great prices. I spent a great deal of time visiting the stores on my breaks spending my wages. Amongst all the shops and restaurants, Gunwharf has a wide array of bars to visit for those not wishing to stroll round the shops. The car park is open 24 hours a day and can get very busy on the weekends. Having parked there for 3 years I never encountered any problems. Gunwharf also have staff around the whole site who are easily identified by their high vis jackets who are willing to help, even if it is just pointing you in the right direction of a store. The site has a Tesco Express and their own convenience store, Gunwharf News, where you can pick up a drink or snack if you do not wish to visit the restaurants. Whilst in Gunwharf, you'll notice the Spinnaker Tower. To admire the best views of the city, take some time from your trip to go to the top. On a good day, depending on English weather, the views go on for miles. The Isle Of Wight is visible, from either the waterfront or at the top of the Spinnaker Tower. There is an array of public transport situated a 50 yard walk from the complex so it is ideal to leave your car at home if you're wishing to stay for a couple of drinks after visiting the shops. Easily the best place to visit in Portsmouth and that is from a residents perspective.

We visited the shopping centre between Christmas and New year, a Very busy time of year!!!
The centre is easy to find with plenty of signs pointing you in the right direction including parking info. Unfortunatly the carpark was full when we arrived but there were no signs for extra parking facilities so I had to resort to searching for an alternative on my phone........I found alternative parking at Wickam Street which was just a 2 minute walk away and easy to find. Its worth noting that parking here is cheaper than at Gunwharf Quays at only £1/hour!!
There is a good selection of shops, Cath Kidson, Superdry, Jack Wills, Denby, M&S to name but a few......... as well as some good restaurants and facilities.
Well worth a visit ;-)
