“A very pleasant stay”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

On arriving for our midweek break we were greeted by Ana-Marie (General Manager) who made us very welcome from the start, answering all our questions on where to go and what to do. The location is great, we had a sea view overlooking beautiful gardens, you are a five minute taxi ride from most of the attractions. Our room was just perfect, the restaurant was very clean and well decorated and the breakfast was top notch. The staff were very friendly...lots of smiles. Oh and bye the way on arriving you are presented with a parking permit, lots of space at the front of the Hotel. I must say we had a very pleasant stay and will be looking at booking for early 2014.
Thanks...The Lock family

Room Tip: Sea view every time...

We stayed here last weekend, we got to the hotel before booking in time, and the welcome we got was first class, we were given a parking permit for our car to put in before we checked in.
We had a seaview room no 17. The room had everything you need for a weekend break.
We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening, the starter was a little cold for breaded mushrooms. However the main was lovely. Breakfast you have a good choice. Thank you for our stay we will be back to stay again

Room Tip: Seaview rooms are worth paying for

We were going to an event at the Pyramid Centre and needed a room for 3 of us. We had the family room on the third floor with a beautiful sea view. We were delighted by the location, the friendly welcome and the parking permit. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quite warm so we just turned down the radiator. Breakfast in the newly refurbished restaurant was excellent and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel has lovely decor, is clean and comfortable.
The staff at the hotel are a big asset as they gave good recommendations for local eateries. What was most important to us was that they went out of their way to post to us, a valuable article that we'd left behind.
It was a lovely place to stay.

We stayed in a four bed room on the third floor, with wonderful views across the sea channel. The room was clean and airy, although warm, and bathroom was well-stocked.
All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The parking permit was fabulous, and the public areas of the hotel are beautifully decorated.
The hotel is within a ten minute walk of a street of restaurants, and there is a laundromat around the corner.
Opposite the hotel is the water and a park in-between. Beautiful views!

A belated thank you for your most kind review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you thought so highly of the Seacrest Hotel. We do have spectacular views of the Solent from the third floor of the Hotel. These views are made more interesting because this particular stretch of water is very busy with all kinds of leisure, Naval and Ferry vessels. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip. Best wishes - Ana Tudor, General manager

We have just returned from a super break away at the Seacrest. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and the breakfasts were superb. The public rooms, dining room and our bedroom were all tastefully decorated and very clean. All in all it's a brilliant hotel in a great location; highly recommended.

Typical Victoria hotel along the seafront with parking on road ( parking permit supplied). Good breakfast supplied. Bedroom was on the small side and double bed had a mattress which was too soft for me!
