Good hotel located opposite the beach and very near to the centre of Portsmouth (a taxi ride to Gunwharf Quays costs less than £4.00. Alternatively a local bus passes near the hotel to Gunwharf Quays.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Parking permits are available to use in bays outside the hotel.
The rooms are comfortable, though on the small side, but clean. It looks like the hotel rooms have been updated recently. Just the hallway and stairs need a little updating.
Hotel is in a quiet location and easy to find with a satnav.
Good breakfast.
Rooms do not have fridges but do have tea and coffee facilities.
Hotel has its own restaurant

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel overlook the sea and have more space.

Thank you for your kind review. The Hotel is very well located on the Seafront with lovely seaviews, just across the road from the beach and D-Day Museum. We are now the only small Hotel on the seafront - just fifteen years ago, there were around 20! They have all gone on to be Apartments, a fate the Seacrest narrowly missed, when the Owners retired in 2003. They are back from retirement now, and the Hotel has been refurbished to a very good standard. The staircase will be done this winter when the Hotel is quiet - we ran out of time this year!

We hope you will come back and "check us out", and very much look forward to welcoming you.

Came over on the cross channel ferry so wanted somewhere close by for an overnight stay. The hotel is very close to the seafront with onstreet parking or a small private car park of their own around the back. Staff were very friendly & the room clean. Breakfast in the morning is prepared to order - very good. Would use it again in the future.

Having stayed in lots of Hotels in Portsmouth we thought a change to the Seacrest was worth a try. Glad we did as this is a gem of an hotel. Easy parking, 5 minutes walk from every style of restaurant, 5 min walk or less to seafront. Welcome could not be faulted with lots of info given on hotel facilities and local attractions. Room and ensuite was very modern and very clean. Did not eat in the evening but used the bar, open until 2330ish. Breakfast could not be faulted. Service very friendly, efficient and speedy but not rushed. Wouild I stay there again next month, most definitely !!

Had relatives down in the middle of June and they had a great stay at this hotel. The room was fabulous and the breakfast was really good. This was a recommendations from them reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. I knew they would enjoy staying at this Hotel as I had received previous god reports and have been following them in Facebook. Relatives are due to visit me again inAugust so I know where they will be staying.!!
