Owner description: Featuring the Mary Rose Museum and world famous ships HMS Victory and HMS Warrior 1860. Plus visit HMS Alliance, the only remaining WW2 era British ocean going submarine, and the M33, the sole remaining British veteran of the bloody Dardanelles Campaign of 1915-1916. Also including the National Museum Royal Navy Portsmouth, Action Stations and the Harbour Tours, as well as the new Women in the Navy Exhibition and the Jutland Exhibition, there's plenty to see and do. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is a great day out for all the family. Situated within a working Naval Base, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is the only place in the world to see the Royal Navy past, present and future - a must see for anyone visiting the south of England.

This is a large site with many differing types of exhibits, shops and little museums as well as the HMS Victory and Warrior. You can easily fill a day for a family trip out.

We bought a combined ticket, senior price. Couldn't get around in the day so hope to go back next year. The Victory and the Mary Rose excellent especially when you consider the age and history of both. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. A must for all ages.

The amount to see and do is huge and it will easily fill your day, it's no cheap but your ticket is valid for a year also lookout for deals on the web, we got our tickets on advance with a huge reduction. It's hard to select a top display as they are all very good and informative but if I were to select one it has to be the new Mary Rose display which is so well done and the collection of artefacts is amazing in terms of quality and size of the collection on display.

We spent two days here and paid the Senior price which seemed a lot of money at the time, believe me it wasn't! We saw so much and did so much. We went on the 'Victory', saw the 'Warrior' and the 'Mary Rose. We did the trip around the harbour and went across to the Submarine museum at Gosport where we went on the submarine HMS Alliance. We could do all of these free for 12 months on our tickets. We did find that the food was quite pricey in the Historic dockyard but you didn't have to eat there. There were a lot of Primary school parties there, and I would imagine that the children loved it.
