“Nothing out of the ordinary”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

There isn't anything bad or great to say about this cinema, it is very much like any other of the cinemas around the country. If I had to make one negative comment about it then the popcorn was not of a great standard, rather than being crispy and fresh it was chewy like it had been reused over a number of days. On a positive note though the facilities seem to be fairly well looked after and the VIP seating area is a nice touch but VUE could do with examining how other cinemas around the world manage their VIP experience as there is only so much that 'just' a Leather seat can do.

“Same as all the other Vue's in the country”
Reviewed 13 April 2014

Nothing to like or dislike really. Kids club cheap for Saturday or Sunday morning to keep the little ones occupied on a rainy weekend. Food and drink extortionate as with all chains.
Would much rather go to Number 6 at the dockyard.

Great value on orange 241 still can't believe what they charge for food and drink aka £2.50 for a bottle water.

“Very comfortable seating, expensive seating.”
Reviewed 18 January 2014

I have been to this cinema a few times and it is the most comfortable cinema in the area. I think this is probably the most important thing to tell people, after all if your sat for 3 hours watching a film you have to be comfortable. There is plenty of leg room and the seats are large enough that you are not sitting on the lap of the person next to you. If you didn’t like the film blame the film makers not the cinema you are watching it in.

It is also the most expensive cinema in the area by a long way. You get way you pay for & I come here to enjoy a film without being cramped or fidgeting in an uncomfortable seat. I don’t like having the person next to me nudge or knock me every time they move, so the large seats here are great.

I cant comment on the cost of the food & drinks as I came here to watch a film & don’t pay inflated prices for snacks. If people feel the food is to expensive, eat either before or after you view your film and likewise for the drinks. If people stop paying high prices for these goods they will stop selling them at inflated prices.
