“Good value”
Reviewed 19 April 2014 via mobile

Visited late morning / early afternoon before taking our three year old to see Sooty at the theatre. Food served from twelve. We ordered early and it did not take long for others to be greeted with a wait of thirty mins or more. It did appear that only one person was in the kitchen. We all ate and drank with change from twenty quid, bargain. Not sure what the area is like after dark though... Staff friendly and pleasant.

“Measly Portions ”
Reviewed 18 March 2014 via mobile

About 2000 hrs we popped in here for food before a gig at the Wedgwood Rooms, had a couple of beers which were good. I ordered garlic bread to start which was nice and hot and came out quick. Waited at least 30 mins for mains, Mrs had sausage and mash which was less than £5, price good was but reflected the amount of food, quality was adequate. My chicken fajitas came out sizzling only problem there was barely enough to fill 1 tortilla, £9 worth not good enough. There is no danger of over eating in this place. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful.

“Upped his game”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

Went for a Sunday afternoon dinner with friends, 4 hours later we were very satisfied and full. In my opinion it can be hit and miss but choose carefully and the food is well worth it. Good value for area too. Refit has transformed the place into a relaxing boozer where you can sit and chat or experience a place that can accommodate large parties.

“Okay if you like Iceland Frozen Roasts”
Reviewed 13 June 2013

We went here with some friends for a Sunday Roast. All of the food was out of frozen bags, the chicken was slimy and chewy and the carrots although frozen carrots somehow were undercooked. The garden door was left open to allow all the smoke to drift in and the woman that served us was very unfriendly. I wouldn't have put such a low review if it weren't for the food costs £8. Also my friends tried burritos and sandwiches and they were just as awful to eat. The woman offered us a round of drinks but we just wanted our money back and will never venture in there again.
