“Authentically Preserved, Magnificent Warship”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

Most famous British warship commissioned in 1765. Makes it the oldest ship and I would add, the most authentic. It is as Lord Nelson left it....carried back to England after his death in battle. THE historical sight that must not be missed if you are ever in England. Museum next to the warship has Nelson's uniform with the bullet hole visible. I like the fact that it has been preserved exactly as it was and has not been altered. Tour guides were very informative and really brought the history alive. LOVE this ship.

“The most famous warship”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

From the outside the ship looks almost brand new, but once on board you enter a whole different world of 18th & 19th century warfare. There is a specific route to follow on board and many low ceilings to avoid; and no flash allowed. As somebody has said in another review, you can really feel the atmosphere on board, and you do soon realise that you are literally walking in the foot steps of a national hero.

“Beautiful ship and a lovely day out”

The ship is magnificent and the staff really know their stuff. Any questions we had were answered and they were brilliant with the little ones. We had a group aged from 5-75 and everyone had a fabulous day.

“Great attraction”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

This is one of the best attraction I've ever visited!!
The atmosphere on the ship is fantastic and you can really feel the emotion on board. It's a great tribute to a fine ship and to Nelson himself. Don't worry about the cost - it's well worth it
