“Breath of fresh air”
Reviewed 2 January 2014

This cafe tucked away at the beginning of Highland Road is a breath of fresh air among the greasy spoons of Albert Road. It is friendly and serves decent tea and coffee and a variety of freshly made panini's and salads. It also serves home made cakes which are delicious. Its good all year round as it's cosy inside when its a bit nippy and has outside seating for the better weather. Somewhere different and refreshing in a "tired" part of Southsea.

“Laid back and friendly service”
Reviewed 6 December 2013

Came just for a cup of tea and was impressed that they served Portsmouth tea at a reasonable price -£1.80 for a pot. My sister enjoyed a slice of cake which was only £1.50 and really tasty. Plus it had such a cosy, intimate atmosphere it was perfect for a really good natter. Looking forward to coming back to try out the breakfast and festive lunches, including pate and brie. Yum!

“Very nice vintage hidden cafe in Southsea!”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

The cafe is clean, relaxed, friendly and different to other cafes in Southsea. The food is delicious and supports local farms. Perfect for breakfasts, hot drinks, smoothies, paninis and salads in the summer.

I would recommend a visit and I would definitely return!
