“Good to explore”

Worth walking round the old part of the city. The bit around Spice Island has narrow streets and some lovely old buildings. Plus two good places to eat and drink.

“Sea views galore”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Love this part of Portsmouth, cobbled roads and a real sense of the past as it's the oldest part of the city . Sitting watching the boats coming in and out of the harbour is one of the things people enjoy . The prices are slightly more expensive but there is more on offer .

“Portsmouth a great place to relax!!”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Portsmouth is a small city on the coast of south sea. The travel time from London is about 2 hours by Train. Trains for Portsmouth leave from Waterloo station in London. It is very nice area, love to enjoy the views and sunset. There are many restaurants, pubs bars etc.. Parking is available on fee but after 6 pm its free.
Go and have fun in evening!!

“Enjoy a stroll through history (and a couple of pubs)”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

Walk along the sea wall, through the ramparts , see the old church and enjoy the views and the sunset. Couple of good pubs, Still and West and The Bridge tavern worth visiting for food and drinks. Good views from the Still and West especially if you sit upstairs. Mostly pay and display car parks and some on road parking. Parking is free after 6pm back near the funfair.(Pier Road) but you may be able to get closer free parking.
Enjoy the delights of old Portsmouth.
