You can move around by car or easily walk. Places have plaques that explain everything and there are car parks to help us.pleanty b

This lovely old cobbled area is super to walk around. A few quaint pubs dotted around when you want a breather and plenty of opportunity just to sit and watch the maritime traffic in the incredibly busy Portsmout Harbour. Spice Island, the Round Tower and Castle walls are great fun to explore and you are only a couple of minutes away from Gunwharf if you want to shop.

Old Portsmouth is a lovely place for an afternoon out, be it as a couple or with the family. There's not loads to actually do, but it's a lovely old, cobbled area with a small pebbled beach, lots of lovely pubs serving food overlooking the harbour and walks along the front. It's within a couple of minutes from Gunwharf quays and ther Historic Dockyard, so if you don't get the weather for it, you're not too far from a decent back up plan.

A great place for everyone to visit, lots to do and see. Great architecture and historic buildings, places to shop and eat, the great views of the sea, and all the ferries, ship's and boat's.

If you have a spare hour or so, well worth a walk around, and lots to see and really tastefully renovated with some historic buildings and fabulous architecture and all by the sea, with the backdrop of the huge ferries bound for France and the IOW etc. passing by; awesome!
