I have to say how disappointed I was when I stayed at the Ferry house Lodge recently. The carpet in the room looked like it hadn't been hoovered for quite a while! The bin had no liner - tea bags had to be put straight into it. No teaspoons, sugar or milk! The only good thing was that there were mugs instead of the small cup and saucer that all B&B's seem to provide these days.
Breakfast seemed a bit unorganised - one bowl left when I went for cereal and used the last of the milk. At least four people came down after me before the milk and bowls were replenished. Orange juice was not replenished until I was nearly ready to leave.
I was on the top floor with two 'neighbours' who insisted on slamming their doors. This is not Ferry Lodge's fault but why does everyone feel it necessary to make as much noise as they can as early as they can!
It is also not quiet - six lanes of traffic right next door. I didn't mind this but thought it should be mentioned.
