Enjoyed a sumptuous Sunday roast (had turkey, roast ham and beef) with roast veg, seasonal veg and all the trimmings for just over £10. Highly recommend but be advised to book to avoid disappointment as it was fairly busy!

Definitely going again!

Recently visited the Queens Hotel with my partner and two young daughters for a Sunday lunch and we felt extremely welcomed from the second we walked in from the reception staff making a fuss over our two girls much to their delight and the waitress who knelt down to talk to the girls and made them feel special. All the staff we came across greeted us with warm sincere smiles and were more than happy to go out of their way if needed. The lunch itself (x2 adult carverys, X2 child carverys) were hot and delicious, again the chef couldn't of done more for you and was very chatty and generous with portion sizes. Waitresses were quick to spot if assistance was needed but at the same time it didn't feel like they 'bothered' us. After our meal which we enjoyed with a sea view the girls were asked so patiently what they would like for pudding by our waitress who again knelt down to talk to them which made us feel so at ease and relaxed about having two young children there. Our puddings were the Bailys cheesecake which was lovely, a cheeseboard which again was generous and two large bowels of strawberry ice-cream for the girls with fresh strawberries in. At the end of our meal my partner commented on how relaxed he felt which is rare thing when we take our two young children out for a meal. Not only did the staff make us feel very welcomed but also the obvious regulars were very friendly and chatty to our girls which just topped off our visit nicely. The cost of our meals we felt was excellent value for what we ate, especially having a lower priced carvery for the children that included pudding in theirs. Also to mention the faint live music we could hear from the bar which really gave it a relaxed feel. Again as we left the reception staff made a fuss over the girls and were more than happy for them to be in the lobby as we waited for our taxi. Defiantly will be coming again on a sunday for a stress-free relaxed lunch, they really have a great team that seem to have it together really well there who were not only friendly to us but we also noticed friendly to fellow staff aswell which is always nice to see.

My family and I visited the Queens hotel for a carvery on Sunday.
It was a highly enjoyable afternoon, although the place was incredibly busy the staff continue to serve you always smiling (sincerely) which just makes for an even better experience. The atmosphere was fantastically calm and relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and will most definitely be returning.

We were taken to lunch at the Queen's on a Saturaday lunchtime. The restaurant wasn't busy but there were people having drinks and snacks in the bar. The service was attentive and friendly but for some reason the kitchen staff decided to cook the starters to match two tables rather than each seperate table.
So, two of us were served our starters (crab cakes) when a similar order was served to the other table but the third in our party had to wait for his soup until the other table had been served the rest of their starters.
Otherwise the food was good and the rest of the service was excellent.
The view was over the Common and if I sat up straight I could see Gosport through the haze.

My boyfriend and another couple came here for dinner and drinks on Saturday night for valentines, and despite there being a ball on and lots going on, the staff were clearly very busy they were extremely attentive, Melanie and Nat were serving us though out the evening and couldn't have been better hosts! The food and atmosphere was lovely and we had a perfect evening! We will certainly be returning and would definitely recommend!!
