With difficulty my wife and 1 booked (online) a 1 week stay to use Southampton as a hub to drive/rail from before a cruise. Due to illness in the family we had to cancel so I did not stay at the hotel, but had a of trouble communicating.
I sent a total of 6 emails - two on each subject: hairdryers, parking and to cancel. No response of any sort to any email. While the hotel says that it offers a FAX service for visitors, I could not find a FAX number anywhere on the internet. The online site did not offer a place to cancel.
As a last and expensive resort I called from California (allowing for the time difference) and after several tries (no answer) I got the desk and cancelled.More
