They have recently revamped the Southampton Travelodge
Not that you would notice on the outside.
If it is basic comfy and nothing special then its fine.
The rooms have been re done which is a vast improvement on before
As a comparison to the Ibis budget well it blows it out of the water.
Cheaper room rate, cheaper parking and facilities to make a brew.
It is about a 10 min walk down into town but located well for myself whilst working down there.
As I said, nothing special but hey, its a Travelodge not a five star.
One thing they have done is replace all the mattresses with new ones with a reference to order one if you thought it was comfy. I wont be ordering one, not the best.
If its 5 star you want review my Kendal Balcony House.
Beats anywhere I have ever stayed.More
