Following a business trip to the Southampton area I stayed at the premier inn hotel in Southampton, west quay. While staying at the hotel I found the stay very pleasant that is until I woke up the next morning to find I had been bitten by something.
I did not think much of it and checked out and carried on with my day. However, half way through the day I experienced intense itching and multiple spots along my arms and legs. It was at this point I checked in to see the doctor who diagnosed the spots as bedbug bites.
I have complained to the premier inn group but still have not received any acknowledgement and or compensation.
Please be aware that there may be bed bugs in some beds. Suggest you check the bed for any obvious signs of bedbugs especially if you have children as I’m sure they will be bitten alive.
