If you are in town to catch the Queen Mary 2, or it's sister ships, then this hotel is reasonably well located as a positioning point. Close to a large shopping center, and not on the solent side, which is better. When the big ships come in, the helicopters are circling above at an unearthly time of the morning, and it's better to be elsewhere.
Food and room were adequate.

Room Tip: No real downside to any side, but if there's a schematic of the hotel, in conjunction with the i...

Affordable compared to other hotels within this central area. Parking is literally outside the hotel and use if the drop off baggage area was helpful whilst we checked in. Would definitely stay again due to great location and affordability

Make certain you understand the car parking arrangements. The multi storey adjacent does not accept cash payment. The shower does not have adequate anti slip facility. Otherwise a welcoming comfortable stay with friendly well trained staff.

I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay to explore Southampton and the shops including ikea. Reception staff were great, the room was fab , can't complain at all ! Only issue we had was some idiots across the wayside letting of fireworks at 1:30am ! Breakfast was the best I've had in years and I have been to some of the best hotels around. I know it's a little pricy but you get what you pay for ... Excellent , relaxing and comfortable stay .

From the minute I walked into the reception area I was treated as a welcome guest, my questions and requests for information were answered professionally and in a clear and concise manner. I was in Room 132 for two nights, the room is located at the end of the corridor. On entering the room the air conditioning was on and the room was nice and cool. The general standard of presentation and cleanliness was of the high standard I've come to expect from Premier Inns. What I really liked about this room was the quietness, there's nothing worse than some intrusive noise when you want peace and quiet and be able to unwind and relax, not so in Room 132. There is no lunch time bar food available, I'm ok with that. Beer / Lager prices are reasonable with comfy seating available. Breakfast......eat what you want from the plentiful selection, all freshly cooked. I would prefer to see plain pork sausages instead of the savoury type that were on offer :-) I must applaud the breakfast lady who really worked hard to keep guests moving and seated with the minimum of fuss. She certainly showed her worth on the Saturday morning, 10 May 14, when it was obvious she was short staffed and a large group of german guests came in for breakfast. Whilst they were demanding in a polite manner she was inundated with requests for this and that and dealt with them all in a courteous manner, well done you !

So, thank you to the staff for making my 2 day stay very enjoyable and maintain what I've come to expect from Premier Inns.

Room Tip: I'll be requesting Room 132 on my next visit.

Stayed a fortnight ago before going cruising and we were very pleased. Very clean and the food was good. The Staff are very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble - helped with our luggage. Car parking was easy and we were very close to the docks
