excellent city centre hotel for the night before my wedding. Gave me the opportunity to be with my best man and my sons for an evening. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable just as it says on the tin.

Great place to be for the sights also near town easy access for the Disabled nice & flat.
Hotel really clean, staff polite helpful nothing too much trouble for them even when I asked for a spare key so I could have constant access to my Disabled Parents.
Not a lot of choice on evening menu but food was good.

Another comfortable and enjoyable stay at this clean and well run Premier Inn. The food in the restaurant is well above average for a budget hotel and the breakfast is outstanding. Good value for money.

Check-in was a shambles, not enough staff around. Seemed to be a bit of a struggle for the staff to cope with the evening "rush" in the bar and restaurant. As a result went elsewhere (Duke of Wellington, excellent! See separate review.) to eat. Room was very clean and quiet despite being on the main road although neither of the beds were to our liking. And NO free WIFI (so yesterday!). Time this company realised that just a short walk from the hotel free WIFI is available in the West Quay Shopping Mall and loads of eating places.

The q for breakfast was too long. Went to M&S in West Quay Shopping Mall and had a very nice breakfast (also cheaper). Loads of room!

Good location for the cruise terminals that are a £8.50 taxi ride away.

This is the last of 5 premier inns we have styled in on our Summer family road trip. We used premier inns for their convenience location and price. They score 5 stars for all these. The west quay location fits the bill for all these but lacks that personal touch found in other locations we have stayed in. You can tell the volume and turnover at this location is high. There is everything you can expect from the premier inn brand but little else to make it memorable. It does what it says on the tin

I tried calling my family who were staying in the hotel prior to their cruise. Firstly you have to call a 087 charge number at 10p per minute and then when I got through and asked for the room the receptionist told me Premier Inns policy is that they can make outgoing calls but not accept incoming calls! How outrageous is that.! Premier Inn gets you to call costing 10p a minute only to be told they cannnot put you through to the hotel room the hote guest can only call out. Obviously so that Premier Inn can get the charges for calls out of the room using theriehotel room phone!!! Never stay here again becuase of this stupid policy or any other Premier Inn. Wake up Premier Inn stop screwing your guests!!
