My husband and I stayed for 1 night because we had a day visit on Azura. There is a drop off point behind the hotel, which you can stay in for 30 minutes whilst you unpack your bags and check in. After this we parked our car in the west quay multi-story car park, you get the hotel to stamp your ticket and this allows you to park for 24 hours for £5, which is pretty reasonable.
We had to wait about 15mins to check in, in the tiny lobby, it seems quite a busy hotel, lots of people checking in and out at all times of the day. However we went straight up to our room on the fourth floor, room 438, dropped our bags off and went to west quay for some shopping. We got take away from Pizza Hut at west quay and took it back to our room to watch TV, which was lovely.
The bed was pretty comfortable, I could feel a spring digging in my shoulder when I went to sleep, however I slept through the night, so it couldn't have been too bad. There was an extra pillow each which I liked. There was a sofa bed in the room also, which was nice to put our suitcases on. Tea and coffee making facilities, a full length mirror, a small mirror with lights round, which I thought would be great for putting make up on, however, the lights were too bright!!
The bathroom was lovely and clean, with really nice smelling soap and shower gel in dispensers, plenty of hot water when we got up for showers at 8am.
We paid £8.95 each to have continental and full English breakfast at the hotel. Which was pretty good, there was a lot of choice, cereal, croissants, toast, yoghurt, fruit, sausage, egg, bacon, beans, hash browns, tomatoes, Orange juice, water, coffee, tea etc.
I had to wait about 15 minutes to check out, due to the lady on the desk being on the phone, lots of other people just put their room keys on the desk, but I didn't know if I needed to do anything else, so I waited. When the lady got off the phone, she said there was nothing else I needed to do. So here's a tip, be like everyone else and it check out is busy, just leave your room key on the desk!
Overall it was a pleasant stay, there were a few scuffs and scrapes on the walls and skirting boards etc, however for a 1 night stay it was more than adequate.
