This is a great spot for a quick, filling meal at a decent price. Clean seating area and personal mini TVs in the booths for sport watching.

My friend and I were looking for an evening meal after our dog walk. this pub has a good outside space which is gated if you have children, and and our dogs were welcome. There was space between the tables to place the dogs blanket without annoying any other diners. Friendly staff, food was very good value for money. Two starters, two mains & two drinks came to a total of £23 Just what we were looking for. I see they do midweek special deals too. would definitely go again .

Food was amazingly delicious, hot and very well priced, as was the drinks. Staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and everything was delivered with a smile.
It was a Sunday, and the place was busy, but we didn't have to wait long for our food - and there were 8 of us.
There needs to be a kids play area to really give it top, top marks.........but that is my only (very, very minor) peeve.
Fabulous and we will be going back soon!

I like this pub/restaurant. It has a really nice vibe and ambiance. There's always a warm welcome from staff, and, although it is well patronized, there always seems to be a good table awaiting you. The food is pretty standard, chain pub stuff, (Hungry Horse in this case), but it's well cooked, served hot and with a smile. There are daily specials, so if you take advantage of those, it's really economical to eat there too. There's a pleasant outdoor area to sit when the weather's kind, and for a pub that's beside a busy road and next to a railway line, it almost has the feel of a country pub. I've eaten there many times and never had a bad experience.

This was my first visit to a hungry horse, it was quite busy for mid week but had a nice meal, great selection on menu and good value. Felt sorry for the barmaid she was run of her feet trying to serve the bar and take food orders so had to wait a while to place order. Nevertheless I would be happy to go back again.
