“Everyhting you need for an overnight stop or longer”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

I stayed here on a Saturday night with my teenage daughter. We had flown into Southampton airport early in the morning and were planning on spending the remainder of the day and evening in London. The hotel provided us with a conveniently located base to do so.

We arrived well before check in time but were able to leave our overnight bag with reception until we checked in on our return from London, this happened quickly and efficiently and most importantly with a smile.

Check in was very quick and when we arrived in our room it was reliably "Premier Inn". Premier Inn's seem to consistently provide a high level of satisfaction, and as yet we have never been disappointed with the level of accommodation or service that we have received. We were pleased that our room had a window that opened as airport hotels frequently (and understandably) have the windows locked and I like a little fresh air even in the winter and the hotel had a very low noise level. We did not notice any noise from the road, planes or other guests even though there were several large groups of school children on football trips.

The hotel is no more than two minutes walk from the airport and less than a minute from the train station which makes it a convenient, low cost choice as a base for trips to other places.

Good place, clean, friendly staff, good security requires the key to enter the floors. Has a restaurant on site but we had already chosen to eat elsewhere.
£3 for carpark is not expensive but it is unusual at Premier Inns. We didn't pay last time and missed the mention on the webpage this time. Possibly because close to airport. Heard no no aircraft noise.

Staff could not have been more help full, polite and friendly. Did think that staying close to airport might cause concerns with noise but were not affected by this at all . food was good and well presented and breakfast kept us going all day. Yes I'd stay here again no problems .

Stayed here before a short flight to Manchester, cheap, clean and the staff were very helpful and polite.
We had to stay again on our way back as we missed the train, the staff were helpful and accommodating.

The hotel is a good location for the airport and train station. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a large bed. It was definitely value for money and very convenient for an early morning flight. I would recommend it.

The quality of this Premier in up to there normal good standards apart from the noise as well as people talking and banging in the corridors. we stayed in room 325 which had a main road, railway line and airport outside so not the quietest of rooms. The road caused the most noise and the trains seem to be none stop. I did expect the planes but not for them to be outside my window. Also be aware car parking on site is another £3 and there is no street parking nearby.
