Stayed at this hotel for one night, really clean and safe. Had to pay for parking but it wasn't expensive. Staff nice but not enough working on the breakfast shift. Couldn't hear the planes and had a good night sleep. Good location as near the station.

I don't know where others have stayed when they claim this is the 'worst Premier ever' but this is the best one that I've stayed in recently. Clean, newly decorated rooms with well-appointed bathroom, beer and food at no more than a local pub and friendly, efficient staff. Add in 24 hours' parking for £3 and 30 minutes of free Wi-fi and you can't do better for a nightly rate of £35 a double. Well done Premier Inn Southampton Airport!

Brilliant for airport and other transport links. Cheerful bar area and eating area looked OK although we did not need to use it. Reasonable charge for parking. Cheaper than at the airport. Ideal base to meet up with a group travelling together.

I stayed here for one night in a family room after visiting Peppa Pig World near by. The beds were very comfy and the room was clean and tidy. The kids beds were on the floor but this was mentioned on the website. This was fine for us but I imagine teenagers would find it difficult. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming.
We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and the service was fabulous. We hadn't booked a table so ate in the bar area, only difference was that you had to order at the bar and didn't have table service. I would suggest booking a table as it got busy very quickly. The man at the bar was great and all the staff were great with the kids (aged 3 and 9). Breakfast was also good but got busy quickly, would recommend going early.
I would stay again no problem!
Our room overlooked the car park (which costs £3) but also the airport, the kids loved seeing the planes taking off!

Room Tip: Overlooking the airport is great for kids, book a table for dinner and get to breakfast early.

Having spent time at other Premier hotels and been happy with the product.
We were warned the hotel was "tired" but when paying a budget price, this should be taken into consideration. The bed was comfortable and bathroom ok which is why you go just as a stopover.
Our complaint was the service in the restaurant. Good job we were not having to catch a plane. The strter took ages, the main course took 1 hour 10 mins to arrive and then when it did, after asking where it was, it came overcooked. We had problems with the bill being paid and an obnoxious ??? under manager annoying us. We feel intensive training for some staff is required. Would never go here again.

I am a frequent user of premier inn hotels, not through business, but leisure. This hotel is next to the airport, but has triple glazing which is really effective at reducing the noise from the flybe planes to virtually nothing. The room was large, very clean and had a very comfortable super kingsize bed. The bathroom was spotless as is always the case with this hotel group. I would recommend this hotel as a base to explore the surrounding area.

Room Tip: If you like watching the planes, then the third floor, room 323 is excellent.
