“Stay over”
Reviewed 4 September 2010

I used the hotel as a stop over before embarking on a cruise from Southampton, the hotel's staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and modern. The meals in the restaurant were excellent and very good value. I wish other hotel chains would show the same excellent good value.

Great location for the airport. Direct phone line to taxis very convenient and much cheaper than from the airport.
I paid £29 pounds for this hotel and it outshone most of its more expensive competitors.
I could not fault the rooms - even the air conditioning worked quietly.
But what made it special was the helpful attitude of the staff. Some old-fashioned politeness makes all the difference.
I never thought I would do this, but taking everything into account, I have to give it five out of five.

We stayed here with my 5 year old who loves planes.
It was really quiet and you'd never have guessed we were next to an airport.
We'll definitely go back.

Ok, so it's "only" a Premier Inn, but it does what it does brilliantly. Warm reception, spotless and spacious room (even for 2 adults and 3 children), handy location for motorways and great value breakfast with the children eating free. Yet again the staff could show some of the more upmarket chains how to deliver genuine, interested and friendly service. Well done Premier Inn!

We have just returned from a few days in Brittany and stayed in the Premier Inn on the eve of our flight. Everything is first class, the welcome at reception, the quality of the room and everything spotless. We had a very good dinner with a first class bottle of wine and in tne morning has a superb breakfast. Congratulations to the management and all the staff.

I needed somewhere close to the airport as I was on a business trip only. This place was booked on a low budget at a low price so I was surprised to find that the room was quite big and very clean. I was given the option for breakfast the next morning too but passed as I had to leave earlier for my flight.

We needed somewhere with parking, relatively close to the ferry terminal so booked here. The room was just like any other Premier Inn - and that's a good thing: Usual high standard of cleanliness and fetaures.
Given the location, it was good to have the bar downstairs. We didn't eat there, but the evening food looked good. The bar staff were cheery and went out of their way to help another customer with a difficulty.
My only criticism was that we needed an early start and a hearty breakfast. We would have preferred to eat at the Premier Inn, but cooked breakfast wasn't available early enough, so we chose to eat in Cowes instead.
