Used the Hilton for an overnight stay and cruise parking. The deal including breakfast and taxis to and from the port was well priced. Found the hotel very easily. Our room had a great view over the golf course. It was very clean, a good size and very quiet. There was a good range of options for breakfast. Enjoy the food while overlooking the cricket ground. The best thing I have left till last: the staff - friendly and very helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Looking forward to our next visit.

Very nice hotel with very nice scenery? Stayed in the room overlooking the cricket and it was just in time for one of the games which was a nice touch. The staff are very helpful & friendly & the food is pretty awesome. Worth spending that little bit extra

Great location if you want to see cricket, our room overlooked the pitch, lovely friendly helpful staff. On one of the nights a bit of a fight broke out in the bar, when some drunks from the wedding downstairs came into the bar and started arguing with a touring cricket team, the staff didn’t seem to been trained to handle it, eventually the wedding guests were taken downstairs and it went back to typical hotel bar, but for a woman on my own I was trapped by where I was sitting and was quite scary and there didn’t seem to be any security, If you are looking to go out on the evening it is a cab ride away from Southampton, and I would stay in the town, but for us it was a perfect location.

We stayed here because it offered an amazing deal for people going on a cruise from Southampton. Basically, we got one night's dbb for two and could leave the car at the hotel for a fortnight (parking at the cruise terminal is notoriously expensive). The return taxi journey from the hotel to the quay was also included. We had a third floor room with a balcony overlooking the county cricket ground. It was a grandstand view and would be ideal for cricket fans. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be cruising again next year and intend to take advantage of the Hilton offer again.

Stayed in an executive room with a balcony over looking the pitch. Chose a day when a Royal London game was on. Room was immaculate and the balcony affords a great view. It helped that the sun shone and it was a great game. Staff all very welcoming, good meal in Beefys and excellent breakfast. Also a couple of pre dinner drinks in the executive lounge was lovely. Car park very busy but plenty of space in the overflow. My only gripe is despite paying over £200 for the room to use the spa you have to fork out another £25. Given we only wanted an early morning swim that’s extortionate. Shame as with spa access, even at a discounted cost this would be top marks. Will return when cricket is on but otherwise will stick to Hiltons where spa is included.
