We had a fantastic overnight stay in the Delph room which had outstanding views over the Avenue and a very special bathroom suite.

The highlight of our trip was dinner in the Avenue restaurant complete with a wonderful selection of wines and a lovely nightcap.

The staff were very professional, friendly and discreet. Thank you to all for a lovely stay.

I spent my 70th birthday taking afternoon tea at Lainston House Hotel with my immediate familyand was not disappointed!

Most beautiful comfy surroundings sitting before a huge open fire. The food was simply lovely.
I would definately return.

I lunched with a friend today at the Avenue. We enjoyed first class service and wonderful food.
Particularly tasty was the mushroom and blue cheese risotto that began our meals.
My dessert, a dark chocolate pot with chocolate sponge and mousse accompanied by home made ice cream was almost too attractive to eat and very yummy.
We both ate every scrap on our plates including the cheese and onion bread rolls, also extremely tasty.
Well done to the new chef, we will call again soon.

The perfect place for a short break after a very stressful week. From the moment you enter the drive and see the house, you just know that you will come away relaxed and refreshed. Wonderfully attentive staff who seem to 'get it just right'. Fabulous ambience and delicious food. This was our third stay and each one has got progressively better - if that's possible. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We had Juniper, a triple aspect room, which is simply beautiful and superbly appointed. However less...

Beautiful stunning location. Staff are the best I have come across. Abi our wedding advisor was amazing.. very supportive and provide great advice and guidance. Food was faultless, service second to none and bedrooms to die for. #
The 15th February 2014 was the best day of our lives. The barn was decorated beautifully, registrars made us feel comfortable and the Eagle Owl was amazing... a great surprise for everyone. We had a singer during the meal and be clear it made it. Never seen people up singing holding hands and dancing during the wedding breakfast!! To top it off we have breakfast with over 50 of our friend in the morning. Thanks you Lainston house for making our day.

We had a fantastic stay at Lainston house from the beautiful log fire at the entrance to our huge room full of character and fantastic bathroom with brilliant two person shower, it was an excellent first impression! The grounds are stunning and we particularly enjoyed the map and wellies supplied both much needed! The ruined chapel in the grounds is a delight along with the wildlife, ducks and pigs all dotted around. The real treat however was the walled garden which even in winter was intriguing and the amazing falconry area. The falconer was so friendly and chatty while he worked on the building and it was lovely to see the Golden eagle out and to be able to ask questions about him. We could only imagine how perfect that area must be in the summer and would definitely return.
Dinner was a delight. We enjoyed the tasting menu which was truly superb with perfect wine choices to compliment and excellent, knowledgeable staff. We found all staff extremely friendly and the décor throughout the hotel was interesting and tasteful.
Breakfast was also and enjoyable and peaceful experience. We always prefer a served breakfast to a buffet and this was of outstanding quality. We would recommend the hotel to anyone and will look forward to retuning in the summer to enjoy all the grounds have to offer.

Utterly delicious tasting menu from Olly Rouse and a wonderful room afterwards. Everything about our night away was spectacular. This is a hidden gem and we will be returning. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay for longer.
