Discovered this place by accident. It is undoubtedly the tastiest and cheapest Thai food I have had and I live in London and have eaten in many Thai restaurants over the years. The food would grace the plushest of establishments. This is a chip shop and Thai place combined and is more of a canteen environment but don't let that put you off. If you want the true authentic fresh taste of Thailand eat here. I have driven from London just to eat here! Highly recommended!

thai caff with noodle dishes and soups. tasty for cheap, quick eats. ignore the fish and chip bar (which seems to winding down) and the fact that the building is constantly being refitted, just elbow up and enjoy

sat night in winchester, no reservation, yummy thai no customers,we were all hungry.dont let the caff style put you off for a nt out,we were pleasantly surprised. The family run restaurant with the real atmosphere of being in thailand with a little boy asleep on a sun lounger, typical mish mash of thai decor, the food was like being in thailand using great ingredients. The family had time to chat and even entertained our baby so i could enjoy the food. Will def go again

At first glance through the windows there's not much to recommend this as a restaurant - it's on the side of a Fish & Chip shop, it has plastic tablecloths and wipe clean menus. BUT the Thai food is freshly prepared, outstandingly tasty and above all very cheap! Only downside is that it doesn't have a drinks license but the proprietor is perfectly happy for you to bring your own from the offy round the corner. A very different experience from most Winchester restaurants and definitely worth a go if you can't get in elsewhere.

I walked in, sat at a table, chose a dish (stir fried chicken with chilli and basil leaves) and almost immediately could hear and smell the dish being stir fried, by the same Thai lady who took my order. Within five minutes I was eating a very fresh and spicy dish full of flavour and lots of fresh veg, green beans, mange tout, spring onion and red pepper. The mug of green tea was an interesting touch but was very pleasant though a teapot would have been nicer.
OK the surroundings are not anywhere that you would take your other half for a romantic meal but for a quick, tasty, good value meal at about a fiver, i was very satisfied.
