We stayed over a weekend as we were attending a function in Winchester. We were aware of the DJ etc but knew we would not be back till late anyway so that was no problem.
Room was great - large and well appointed with good bed, linen and décor. En-suite relatively small for room but good big shower. We had drinks in the bar but no food or breakfast so can only comment that the general vibe was good and staff efficient and friendly.
We had a room at the front and the big downside here is the traffic noise from an early hour. Front window had secondary glazing but not the large side window which sucked in the noise!
The other problem is the large bulkhead security green light in the ceiling which means the room is very very light when the lights are switched off. I have never seen a light this big for this purpose and suggest this is fixed if they do not want a rake of complaints.
