We stayed here for the weekend and recommend Hope End without any reservations. The location is stunning and, on a beautiful autumn day, it was difficult to imagine anywhere as beautiful.

The room was very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.

We stayed at Hope End House, Wellington Heath, for two nights. The house was originally part of a country estate built towards the end of the nineteenth century. It burnt down in 1910. The present owners purchased Hope End House in a derelict state about twenty years ago and have completely restored and refurbished it. The style is elegant and sophisticated.

If you decide to stay at this property, do be sure to print off the directions on the website as it is quite remotely situated and could be difficult to find. It is located in an elevated position with magnificent views over the Malvern Hills. The extensive gardens are beautiful and well tended.

We were welcomed with tea and home made cake on arrival. Our room (the Berrington) was very comfortable with pristine décor, separate en suite shower and bathroom. The Rosewood Room is the best for size and all round views. Breakfast was everything you could wish for and was served with homemade preserves.

We had our evening meals at the pub in the village, The Farmer’s Arms. The food was very good. This is not walking distance but only a few minutes by car.

Ledbury is a charming, small town nearby and there are many interesting places to visit in the area. We went to Hanbury Hall, Hampton Court and Berrington Court, all of which had attractive gardens.

I recommend this property for a peaceful stay, beautiful surroundings and a high degree of luxury.

We booked the Hope End because it was the nearest place to stay to a party we were invited to, and I was very impressed. Its tucked away, off the beaten track, but near to Ledbury. We were greeted with tea and home made cake on arrival. The setting is idyllic, its a beautiful mansion, set in acres of stunning scenery., where you can go on delightful walks. Everywhere is decorated tastefully and to a high standard. We had the Berrington room, overlooking the back garden. It was peaceful and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. We had a bathroom and separate shower, and all the bed linens and towels were top quality. The breakfast was superb, with plenty of choice, the eggs being from the chickens on their farm. I couldn't fault this property, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it highly. The proprietors are charming and very helpful. I'd definately stay there again when we are in the area.
