8th September - Table of 6. Pre booked. Extremely disappointed. Have been here for a drink before & heard good recommendations about the dining but we definitely won’t be returning or recommending to anyone else. When we arrived & tried to order drinks we were told that nearly every drink we wanted was out of stock (I was on my 3rd choice). We ordered and after an hour of waiting we asked the waitress whether our food would be ready soon as we were now in a rush. We were told it was the lamb that was causing delay. Our food finally arrived & we were told that the sword fish would take another 10 minutes (they had obviously forgotten about it as sword fish does not take 1 hour & 10 minutes to cook)!! When the sword fish finally arrived it was undercooked however we didn’t have another hour to wait for a replacement so just decided to ask for the service charge (that is automatically added to the bill) to be taken off. We didn’t think that the service we had received warranted it. The waitress said yes and removed it however when she later split the bill in 3rds for us she subtly added it back on without telling us!!
