Had a lovely meal Good Friday lunchtime in the restaurant. Welcoming staff, pleasant almosphere, swift service. Could not fault the food. Try the brie and courgette lasagne (comes with chips of course). Out of this world. My other half had the centre piece of skate. Perfect. Attentive service without being obtrusive. Superb ambience (no music in the restaurant itself but could just hear it coming in from the bar) so could have a conversation without having to raise voice over music as can happen elsewhere. All in all a very satisfactory outing. Thank you. Shame not going again today!!
