We commenced our break with a superb Sunday lunch at the adjoining Beefeater restaurant. Our premier Inn Room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. Our breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and beautifully cooked. Will definitely visit again.

I have stayed here on several occasions and never been disappointed.

The rooms are clean and spacious as you would expect from Premier Inn, the staff in the hotel and restaurant are very good.
The surroundings are excellent, off the beaten track so no road noise, there is a duck pond so its very picturesque. The restaurant is within a barn like structure which contains a working waterwheel which gives it 10/10 for originality.
Food is fine, your not paying the earth it offers good value for money and on a good day the steaks are really nice.

The breakfast as always is exceptional, with a great choice, well cooked and presented. And most importantly good value.

The good thing about Premier Inn's is the consistency. You might not get any surprises but at least you don't get any shocks.

I will stay here again

The beds & pillows were very uncomfortable. The room temperature could not be adjusted and it was a very hot/ humid night. The whole family struggled to get to sleep.
We stay in Premier Inns frequently but would not stay in this one again. Location and the surroundings are great, but if you value sleep over these then I would not recommend.

The staff were all polite, and helpful!
The hotel had a motorway behind it - but it didn't disrupt any sleeping time, it took me a couple of days to notice the motorway. The eating establishment next door was suitable. Nice, pretty location.

I can't give this place a bad review - the staff are very friendly, rooms are spacious and the local beefeater next door as a resturaunt - well it's a beefeater!
Two moans about this place - the mattresses - not that comfy - bit hard and lumpy - (stayed here 3 times - all the rooms had the same bed issue) and the toilet paper - cheap nasty stuff, bring your own!

We had booked a couple of rooms , at this beautiful and quaint hotel , the staff were very accommodating ( even printing off some emails for us ) and friendly but the rooms looked tired and worn and were not up to the standard that I've been used to from premier inn , perhaps this was not one of the revamped hotels ? The bed was certainly not as good as other premier inns , my daughters room had to be changed as there was a very heavy odour of cigarette smoke that even surprised the manager , apart from this the stay was very pleasant in beautiful surroundings .

We stayed here while attending a music festival at Knebworth. We had room 32 and it was a great room for our needs. The bedroom was lovely but the bathroom is in need of modernisation and the grouting needed cleaning. The staff were all pleasant and the attached Beefeater was acceptable. The building is beautiful but some staff were a little disorganised and lacklustre.
