We did the tour yesterday (04/05/12) with Vincent. It was GREAT: the weather, the river, the detailed comments, the scenery, all was perfect and Vincent was very funny. All staff were friendly and welcoming. When you are in Canterbury, do not miss this attraction. WE LOVED IT: we discovered a part of Canterbury City we did not imagine and we learnt more about the City history. Pleasant and educative tour.

My great nephews and I enjoyed our trip very much. Our Captain (Chris??) soon to complete his History Degree at the Univery of Kent, was an excellent, informative and amusing guide.

We were impressed that the Captain retrieved floating litter from the river, the boys have told all the family about the good deed!

We were convinced by hard selling to get on the boat for a tour of the city. It turned out the boat took us 50 yards up and down the departure spot either way. The guide ( Chris) a young man with obvious issues of self-importance gave us an interesting talk about certain historic events but didn't really know when to stop. He kept asking us questions as if to check our knowledge and waited in silence until everybody on the boat felt stupid enough. Then he answered the factual question as if it was 'obvious'. This happened constantly. He was as the British say ' up his own..' and spoke about himself as well. Very disappointing. In one of our 10 min stops, a punting boat passed by. We found out later that is what we should have taken. We'd be spared the lecture and the condescending attitude. Think twice before spending a lot of money on that tour. It's overrated and a bit of a myth as are the fake Tudor style house fronts. Ps. Chris, we are aware that where we were was not a moat.

The company is highly conscientious to its guest's and standards of work which is clearly seen but the number of 5 & 4 star reviews we are proud to of gained, recently in our opinion, we have been targeted by a competitor with untrue & offensive fake reviews, some of which have been removed by T/A, and others that we are reporting to T/A. This review is yet another example, we hope that anyone reading these reviews would not be influenced by their malicious content nature or intentions.

Our guide was a funny, very bright young man who painted a great picture of Canterbury in the past. It was well worth the money, you see things you would not have otherwise...it left us wanting more!

Dear Captain Tom,

We were a small group of 8 students decided to visit Canterbury in their free Sunday 18/03/2012. The boat trip was the Most Exciting Experience for us. Everyone was really happy and satisfied after it ;) Our Captain Tom provided us with very interesting historical fact but in very colourful and unforgetable way.

The only recommendation would be if you can include more channels in the tour and make the distance a bit longer. :) But it is not necessary.

Thank you very much for the amazing tour, captain Tom !!!
